In my artistic practice I often explore the encounter between different states, materials and movements. I am interested in how change and transformation can be represented and how sculpture can reveal what exists in a borderland, especially in a state of movement where something new is taking shape. I am curious about the transgressive and how scientific phenomena, the aesthetics of chance and human experiences can merge into a material whole. My work can be described as an ongoing investigation into how material and form can reflect different dualities, growth and decay, the conscious and the subconscious, order and disorder. I see this space as places of transformation and an opportunity to explore the encounter between different states, between body and material, nature and industry, the individual and society.
